About

Jennifer Carney graduated from University of Arkansas with a BA in English/Creative Writing. Shortly after graduation, Jennifer was recruited by an executive at the Walmart Foundation where she served as program coordinator and content editor for the Foundation’s website. From there, she worked as a logistics manager for a specialty publishing company, where she co-created and executed custom in-store marketing programs for Walmart.

For the last decade, Jennifer has conducted in-depth investigation, reporting, and trend analysis for clients in a diverse cross-section of industries. From Fortune 500 companies to promising start-ups, she has parlayed her love of knowledge and attention to detail into a fascinating career. She recently transitioned from Senior Researcher at a marketing and social media research firm to the Director of Education and Research for a publicly-traded nutraceutical company. Her skills further include copywriting (for web, social media, email campaigns, PRs, print) and copy editing (across all platforms, including scholarly/medical); acting as company spokesperson and educator; and managing cross-functional projects.

In her spare time, Jennifer is the Features Editor for The Vinyl District, an international music magazine with a record store finder app that has been featured by NPR and in Rolling Stone. She has interviewed such musical luminaries as Brian Wilson and Graham Nash, and was even given all access to cover Neil Young and Crazy Horse on tour.
